Comments: Darby lives in Ft. Bragg, N.C. and is a 2 year old black and tan beagle. He
is approx. 15". He likes to play with his new brother Sampson. We recently
got another dog and so he now has someone to play with. I spoiled him when
he was little so he doesn't know what it is like to stay out in the cold or
even get wet. One of his favorite things is this old blanket I use to have
on my bed which he will pull around the house like a security blanket. He
will pull it out at night when he is ready to go to bed. He also loves to
chase bunnies but unfortunately we don't hunt. He also has the longest
tongue in the west. He loves to give anyone kisses and wants to greet
everyone he sees. He loves to lay on the couch and look out the window. I
think, sometimes he believes he is a human. He gets his way a lot. One day
when we were walking late at night, the glare of the street light lamp
behind us cast our shadow on the trees about 20 feet away. When he saw this
he didn't know what to think and he immediately got into a fighting stance
and began to growl and bark at the 3 dark figures in the woods. We couldn't
convince him that everything was alright and that the shadows he was seeing
were really us.
